Building a PC in 2025 $

What is the reason, why would I dump my hard-earned money into something like a PC? Honestly, I felt, and still do feel, a certain guilt for even attempting to do it and then succeeding. I built it simply because I wanted to, driven by a personal passion that I’ve had for years. I always wanted to build one for content creation and gaming purposes. Back in my high school days, I used to build PCs all the time, but since 2011, I hadn’t touched a Windows machine.

So, what’s in my beast of a machine? I’m running an Intel i9 Ultra 12900K unlocked processor, paired with a hefty 64GB of RAM, a massive 8.1TB of storage, and an Asus 5060ti OC graphics card. This computer edits videos incredibly fast and with ease! it’s incredibly convenient for my workflow. For a long time, I relied on Windows emulators on my Mac to play games like No Rest For the Wicked, Baldur’s Gate 3, and Genshin Impact. The process was clunky and far from ideal, but it was the only option I had. After playing games on this PC, I know I can never go back to those limitations. Just this past week, I played a Beta Play Test of an upcoming game called Ark Raiders, and it was an absolute blast! I can’t wait until its official launch. Building my PC has brought me not only a good deal of excitement but also a profound sense of accomplishment. The entire experience taught me so much in such a short time, making it all the more rewarding.
